Officials have ruled the death of a retired firefighter in Irvington a homicide.
An autopsy showed that 88-year-old Donald Dreher was suffocated.
His body was found March 22 after police were called to his 18th Avenue home to check on him.
Police have not yet arrested anyone in connection to this case.
