The former owners of Cablevision are suing Altice USA - News 12’s parent company.
The suit by the Dolan family claims that Altice breached an agreement not to lay off workers at News 12 when it purchased Cablevision in 2016.
A spokesperson for Altice says the lawsuit is without merit and that the company will defend it vigorously.
