Flooding reported across NJ from heavy weekend rains

Many across New Jersey are cleaning up Monday after soaking weekend rains prompted flash flooding in parts of the state. Some areas saw as much as 4 to 6 inches of rain as streams and tributaries overflowed.

Many across New Jersey are cleaning up Monday after soaking weekend rains prompted flash flooding in parts of the state.
Some areas saw as much as 4 to 6 inches of rain as streams and tributaries overflowed.
Much of the water had receded by Monday morning, but more wet weather is on the way.
News 12 New Jersey meteorologists say a flash flood watch is in effect through Monday night for Monmouth, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Somerset, Sussex and Warren counties.
