As of tonight, the only bridge connecting a handful of residents to the rest of Flanders is once again open to traffic.
The bridge connecting Mill Road to three homes was washed out in September.
Residents had built a temporary bridge upstream to walk across, but they haven't been able to drive up to their homes since the flood.
Homeowner Meg Costello says FEMA did contribute a small amount of money to replace the bridge, but the homeowners were responsible for the greater portion of payment.
