A vehicle fire sent thick smoke into the air and caused traffic backups Monday afternoon in Westchester County.
Video shows flames engulfing the front of a white van on I-287 near the I-684 interchange.
Fire officials say fuel was also burning across the roadway during the incident.
Crews from Purchase responded along with firefighters from Port Chester and West Harrison.
No injuries were reported.
