A cat was rescued from a storm drain in Jericho.
The Jericho Fire Department got a call from some residents in the Hamlet Estates saying they heard her crying.
Officials say first responders arrived on the scene and were able to remove the storm drain, climb down, and get the cat to safety.
One of the EMTs decided to take the cat and give her a home.
