A
first-of-its-kind test program kicked off at Newark Liberty International
Airport Monday night, as passengers on a United Airlines flight to London were
offered free COVID-19 testing before boarding.
The
flight departed Newark just after 7 p.m.
Any
passenger who tests positive doesn't fly, and any passenger who won't take the
test gets a different flight.
The
transatlantic COVID-19 testing is a pilot program, and is part of a four-week
trial.
