Authorities say a firefighter has been hospitalized after a fabric warehouse caught fire in New Jersey.
Fire officials tell The Record newspaper firefighters responded to the blaze in Passaic Sunday morning. Heavy smoke was shooting out from a warehouse that's part of a larger complex.
Officials say firefighters battled the blaze from both outside and inside the building.
Officials say the warehouse fire was extinguished around 9 a.m.
It was unoccupied at the time.
One firefighter was sent to an area hospital after officials say he was feeling numbness in his hand. His condition wasn't immediately known.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Officials say they suspect material underneath the assembly line was burning.
