The large warehouse fire that started last week in Elizabeth is still smoldering, but fire officials say they expect it to be out by tomorrow. The fire started last Wednesday at the former Burry Biscuit factory on Newark Avenue.
At one point, 250 firefighters were on the line battling the eight-alarm fire. Officials haven't yet said with certainty what sparked the fire, but they say it may have started with a car fire in an auto body shop inside the warehouse.
