The FAA has finished installing a new fiber optic line at Newark Liberty International Airport.
Transportation secretary Sean Duffy announced the completion of the project Thursday. He said it comes after around a month of testing.
The new fiber optic line is meant to improve network infrastructures and improve reliability for travelers.
Officials say flights out of Newark will continue to be limited until late October.
