Mercer County flood victims are the latest to see resources arrive for federal relief after April?s nor?easter.
FEMA opened a disaster recovery center in Trenton Thursday at the fire headquarters on Perry Street. Residents can head down to report what was damaged or lost. They can also go to the center if they have any questions about federal aid.
County officials estimated almost $8 million in damages from the storm. The Office of Emergency Management says that is more than the damage from last summer?s Delaware River flooding.
The Assunpink Creek flooded many businesses in Trenton. Many homeowners also had flooded basements after the nor?easter.
The center will be opened from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
