Federal officials say immigration agents arrested 10 people in Hudson County.

The Department of Homeland Security said some of those arrested are accused of reentering the country after being deported.

DHS did not release additional details.

Officials said at least some of the arrests stemmed from agents showing up at a light rail station on the border of Hoboken and Jersey City.

Hoboken Mayor Emily Jabbour said local police were not notified in advance and did not assist with any federal immigration enforcement.
