A federal judge has sided with New Jersey in a lawsuit over United States Postal Service mail delays.
The lawsuit blocks changes at the USPS. It comes as the Garden State prepares for a mostly mail-in ballot election.
The postmaster general has since denied that any changes implemented by the Postal Service were intended to affect election results.
A recent poll shows that 72% of respondents felt that the USPS is doing an excellent job – a number largely the same to similar polls done in 2014 and 2017.
But many have also said that they have noticed their mail has recently taken longer to arrive.
