Chipotle says a typical order from them now costs about 10% more than it did last year.
McDonald’s also increased its menu prices by 6% last year.
Starbucks hiked its prices in October and then again in January of this year.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports food away from home got about 6% more expensive in 2021, and that trend is expected to continue this year.
