A 13-year-old boy from Brooklyn has been missing since Sept. 24 and his loved ones are getting the word out in hopes of finding him.
Nephteria Cooper says her son Rashawn Davis lives with his father. She says when he went to take the trash out, he never came back.
"It's horrible. You don't want your child to be missing. I have sleepless nights because I just think about where he could be, what could happen,” said Cooper. "He's mentally ok. He's in his sound mind. It's not like him to run away for several days."
Cooper lives in Missouri but came to New York City to help search for her son.
A neighbor last saw Davis on Rockaway Parkway in Brownsville, walking toward Lincoln Terrace Park. His parents have been scouring the neighborhood, posting missing signs since he went missing.
A police report describes the Davis as 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 148 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green shirt and shorts with blue sandals.
