(02/08/06) TOTOWA ? Family members and friends held a candlelight vigil Wednesday outside a Totowa water plant in memory of a chemist murdered one year ago.
Police believe Geetha Angara was choked and dropped into one of the water tanks at the Totowa Passaic Valley Water Plant, her place of employment, on February 8, 2005. Police have narrowed their pool of suspects from 50 of Angara?s co-workers to three. However, they say an arrest could still be far off.
Angara's family members say they are frustrated over the investigation's lack of progress. They are now asking Governor Jon Corzine (D-NJ) to have the state attorney general take over the investigation. They would also like to see U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie get involved as well.
