Fairfield’s Little League team is on the precipice of greatness.
The team is just three wins away from going to the Little League World Series.
The Fairfield National 12-Year-Old All-Stars are off to Bristol this weekend for the Metro Regional tournament.
That tournament includes teams from New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island.
A send-off for the team was held Thursday at Warde High School gym.
