Federal officials are looking into more laser-pointing incidents at Newark Liberty International Airport.
The Federal Aviation Administration says two flights reported lasers were shone at them Saturday night.
An ExpressJet flight and a Shuttle America flight landing around 9 p.m. said they noticed the red lasers about 20 miles southwest of the airport. No injuries were reported.
Lasers can temporarily blind a pilot and are considered a problem at airports around the country. Last year the FBI offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
Newark had 28 reported incidents last year but only three this year through February.
