(AP) - A former Boy Scouts leader in New Jersey who admitted to sexually assaulting three teenage troop members in the 1990s has been sentenced to 10 years in state prison.
Morris County prosecutors say the term imposed Friday on Stephen Corcoran will run concurrent with a seven-year sentence he's now serving for a 2017 child pornography conviction.
The 51-year-old Morris Plains man had pleaded guilty last August to four counts of sexual assault for abuse he committed on three scouts between 1997 and 1999 in Morris Plains. The boys ranged in age from 13 to 17.
Authorities have said the child porn material was discovered during an investigation into the child sex abuse claims.
