He didn't get fired from 'The Apprentice,' but reality star Randal Pinkett is being recruited for a new job by Gov. Jon Corzine.
Pinkett is on Corzine?s short list for lieutenant governor.
According to Democratic insiders he's not a lock for the job just yet. Democrats are still narrowing the list down and the vetting process still has to take place.
News 12 New Jersey spoke with Donald Trump Tuesday about Pinkett. Trump gave him a glowing recommendation.
The deadline to pick a lieutenant governor is July 27.
