Police have arrested a 21-year-old man in connection to the death of a college student from Roosevelt.
Police say they found 19-year-old Emily Silverstein choked and stabbed to death in her ex-boyfriend's off-campus apartment after receiving a 911 call at around 6:44 a.m. Thursday. Silverstein was a sophomore at Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
Police have arrested Kevin Schaeffer, a senior at the school, in connection to the murder. Investigators say the two had just ended their relationship.
Schaeffer is charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, possessing an instrument of crime and tampering with evidence. He is being held without bail.
