A Mercer County business with a lot of flavor and even more personality is ready to fulfill New Jersey residents’ need for comfort food.
Tim McRae is the owner of WTF, which stands for “Where’s the Food.”
“We like to call it eclectic comfort food,” says McRae. “We take a lot of the favorites and try and touch on culinary arts from around the world to give people different flavors.”
What started out as a food truck, has now become a permanent food stand in Ewing Township. McRae says that he has to operate differently now because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Six-foot distancing…trying to keep everything ‘no touch,’ so the menu is just mounted on the wall,” he says.
Staff also uses masks, gloves and hand sanitizer, plus some extra cleaning.
“We wipe down and sanitize everything in the morning with Microban, which lasts for 24 hours,” McRae says.
WTF is open every day except for Sundays and Mondays.
