Tenants ousted after an Asbury Park ceiling collapse attended a landlord hearing at City Hall Thursday where they voiced their complaints and concerns about living conditions.
A ceiling collapsed Tuesday night during heavy rain and caused major water damage to three apartments and minor damage in 14 other apartments, according to the American Red Cross.
The Red Cross has provided the 59 tenants who live in the 215 First Ave. complex with temporary housing while their apartments receive necessary repairs.
The collapsed roof was under construction at the time without a permit, according to city officials. The incident is being investigated.
