Comic fans at East Side Mags in Montclair are excited for the upcoming release of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” in theaters.
The first Black Panther film came out in 2018. Since then, it has become one of Marvel’s most highly regarded movies.
East Side Mags owner Jeff Beck says fans cannot wait to see the film.
“There’s been a lot of excitement. Everybody’s speculating about what the plot’s going to be, who’s going to show up, but most importantly, who’s in the suit. So, a lot of theories and a lot of guessing going on. We’re going to find out today. It’ll be great,” he said.
It has been speculated that the character Shuri, sister of the original Black Panther, King T'challa, might don the mantle in the new film. Fans are eager to see if their theories are correct.
Some theaters are premiering the film Thursday night. This includes the Claridge Theatre in Montclair, which is located across the street from East Side Mags. Their ticket also comes with a 10% discount offer at the store for as long as the film is screened at the theater.
