Nearly 100 years after women officially got the right to vote, a Bergen County organization is helping those looking for brighter futures break new ground.
August 26 is Women's Equality Day, but at the Women's Rights Information Center in Englewood, everyday is more than just the fight for equality -- it's about female empowerment, inclusion and advocacy.
The center provides a safe place and resources for women and man taking their first steps toward independence. This includes therapy, classes and legal services.
