An employee at a Yorktown facility has been charged with raping a patient who was incapacitated and unable to consent.

Police say the incident happened Saturday morning at the Yorktown Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Javier Barragan, 48, of Yorktown, was arraigned Tuesday and is being held at the Westchester County Jail.

A temporary order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.

News 12 has reached out to the center but has not heard back.
