A large fire broke out at a junkyard in Union County Thursday night.
The Elizabeth Fire Department put out the fire in about two hours.
The lot is owned by a company called Highway Services, a towing company in Elizabeth.
Authorities believe about 35 cars were destroyed.
Investigators with Union County's Fire Investigation Task Force, State Fire Marshals, the Sheriff's Office Crime Scene Unit and Elizabeth police are currently working to determine the cause of the fire.
