Much in the same vein as people going to cobblers to fix old shoes and increased business at consignment shops, New Jersey residents are opting more and more to repair old computers rather than replace them.
Nick Trigili, owner of ?Answers!? in Lake Como, says business has spiked at his shop due to the beat up economy. Business at ?Answers!? has seen a 25 percent increase over the past six months.
In addition to money being tight, Trigili says more and more people are out of work and using their computers in their hunt for employment. That, he says, puts Web surfers at risk for viruses, spyware and other problems.
?The more time you spend on the computer, the more chance you?re going to have problems with it,? he says.
