East Coast Comic Con draws fans to the Meadowlands
Comic book artists, cartoonists, classic TV stars and droves of fans were at the Meadowlands this weekend for the East Coast Comic Con.
More than 10,000 people -- many decked out in their best cosplay gear -- packed the Expo Center for the event, now in its third year.
The event took root as a small comic book convention at the historic Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, and quickly expanded into the major event it is today.
Among the famous faces in the crowd were the surviving cast of the hit show "Lost In Space," and Dawn Wells, famous for her beloved role as Mary Ann on "Gilligan's Island."
East Coast Comic Con will return to the Expo Center next year, and fans can look out for another show in the fall back in Asbury Park.
