Coastal areas of the state are bracing for yet another round of high tides and potential flooding, with early reports of water overflow coming in.

A tidal prediction chart from the National Weather Service shows that high tide will reach a level that is just below "major flood" stage on Friday morning, which could lead to several feet of water in coastal neighborhoods.

High tides on Thursday morning already caused some minor overflow in at least one area.
