A Duke lacrosse player from New Jersey appeared in court for the first time Thursday on rape charges.

Twenty-year-old Reade Seligmann, of Essex Fells, one of three charged with raping a woman who had been hired to strip at a team party in March. Seligmann and a teammate were indicted last month. A team co-captain was indicted Monday.

Seligmann's attorney asked the judge to order prosecutors to turn over all evidence collected so far, which includes the cell phone records of his accuser.
