Police raided nine suspected drug houses in Trenton?s South Ward Thursday.

The operation led to five arrests. Police confiscated crack, heroin and cash allegedly found in the raids.

?We are here setting the tone, especially for the summer,? said Lt. David Maldonado, of the Trenton Police Department. ?When the weather gets warmer, usually things start to pick up a little bit. We?re just gonna let these folks know ? they?re not gonna have their way around here.?

Authorities say the sting wouldn?t have been possible without tips from neighbors.
