Firefighters rescued a driver trapped in a car after a tree fell on it in Hunterdon County.

It happened Tuesday on Route 579. Crews from Quakertown, Frenchtown, and Kingwood responded and worked quickly through the rain to free the injured driver.

It took them less than ten minutes to remove the victim from the vehicle.

State police are investigating the crash.
