Sixty people from 31 different countries became citizens of the United States on Tuesday during a naturalization ceremony held in Liberty State Park.
It was a celebration for Citizenship Day and Constitution Week.
Some of the immigrants shared their stories of their first day in America.
"They even shared their experiences. They went to a McDonald's or Wendy's. They only ordered the No. 1 because they didn't want to speak the menu. I brought back a lot of memories of theirs and they remembered how far they have come,” says Ya-Mei Chen, director of the Mount Laurel Immigration Field Office.
More than 600 people will be naturalized in New Jersey this week.
