New Jersey residents are helping victims of the Louisiana floods by donating a truck full of supplies.
Residents brought supplies to Lurker Park in East Hanover Saturday for the "Fill a Truck" event.
Two weeks ago, an unnamed storm dumped more than 2 feet of rain on Louisiana near Baton Rouge and forced about 100,000 people out of their homes.
East Hanover residents, police and fire personnel organized the donation drive. Their goal is to pack a Penske moving truck full of supplies that will be driven to Louisiana on Sunday.
