A doctor is suing Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, alleging the popular coaster, Kingda Ka, caused him to get spinal surgery.
Dr. Christopher Fabricant, of Red Bank, says he suffered permanent damage to his neck and spine following his ride on, which the park describes as, the fastest roller coaster in North America.
The lawsuit claims park employees didn't warn the 6’2’’ doctor that people of his size aren't good candidates for the ride.
He says the ride exposes people to whiplash.
Six Flag’s website describes the ride as an upside down U-shaped track that bolts up 45 stories in the sky.

The website notes the ride accelerates from 0 to 128 mph in 3.5 seconds as it climbs to its peak, then plummets right back down in a 270-degree spiral.

The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages.
