Visibility was reduced to a few miles or less in parts of the Garden State Thursday morning as drivers dealt with some seriously dense fog.
Drivers are advised to use low-beam headlights as opposed to high beams in such conditions.
The fog is a product of the unusually warm weather, as New Jersey is typically seeing temperatures 10 degrees cooler or more at this time of year.
The state should also have seen about 6 inches of snow at this point in the month, but Newark has barely accumulated 1/4 of an inch.
