The Jersey Shore remains a dangerous place due to rip currents. Several people were rescued Tuesday in Seaside Heights.
There were also three drownings at the Shore over the Labor Day holiday weekend – and it could have been worse.
Steve Houser was out surfing when he heard a person’s calls for help. He swam out to the man in trouble and that man was able to grab onto Houser’s surfboard and get pulled to safety.
News 12 New Jersey spoke with Houser about the save and the dangerous ocean conditions.
