Monmouth County continues to have the most outages in New Jersey, leaving residents frustrated and wanting answers.
"Power went, never came back and we just had to figure it out on our own," says Matthew Galan, of Keansburg.
Neighbors in areas like Keansburg and Matawan are trying hard to get through this tough time.
Joyce Nicholson has a son with autism. She says it's been tough because he needs his gadgets to keep him calm.
Thousands of JCP&L customers, including residents in Middletown, are still without power. Some residents are lucky enough to have a generator while others are searching to obtain one.
"Worst case scenario, it's going to be Tuesday at 11:30 p.m.," says Stephanie Galan. "I'm like OK, that still doesn't give me any answers, what's going on, what caused it, or anything."
News 12 also surveyed surrounding areas like Union Beach, Hazlet and Keyport. People there have not experienced any major issues.
