The storm created its share of driving hazards Tuesday all over the state, including Bergen County.
Traveling north from Edison, plow trucks on the roadway headed west on Interstate 78 in Hudson County to help morning commuters. But problems started Monday overnight as roads became treacherous. Some serious flooding issues took over Route 17 roadways earlier, but problems began long before Bergen County.
News 12 New Jersey’s Tony Caputo says he saw several accidents and flooding issues on Tuesday.
There appeared to be single vehicle accidents at the base of the Driscoll Bridge in Middlesex County around 1:30 a.m.
Flooding issues were seen in Bergen County on Route 17 between Union Avenue and Paterson Plank Road. In some cases, drivers couldn’t see the flooding until it was too late. Everyone made it through, however.
