Independent candidate for governor Chris Daggett unveiled a sweeping plan Tuesday that would overhaul the state's tax system.
Daggett claims his plan could give homeowners $3.9 billion in property tax cuts in addition to cutting income and corporate tax. It would do so by extending the sales tax to a wide variety of services, including the usage of lawyers, accountants and rental homes.
