David Goldman, the father involved in an international custody battle, arrived at Newark Airport Friday morning from Brazil empty-handed.The Tinton Falls father is trying to get his 9-year-old son, Sean, back to the United States.In an interview with News 12 New Jersey after he returned to the Garden State, Goldman said the "only choice" in the custody battle is for him to bring his son home.Goldman says his son has parental alienation syndrome due to the case and is being emotionally damaged in Brazil. Goldman's wife took their son to Brazil in 2004. She died last year, and the boy has been living with his Brazilian stepfather.A court in Brazil ruled that Goldman should get custody, but thecountry's supreme court said it will review the case next week.AP wire services contributed to this report.
