Crews are searching for the body of a baby who was apparently thrown out with the trash at Jersey City's Christ Hospital.Police say they are searching dumps across the state and in Pennsylvania Tuesday to hopefully find the baby's remains.Kalynn Moore insists her son, Bashere Davon Moyd Jr., was born with a heartbeat on Dec. 21. Christ Hospital says the child was stillborn. The hospital says the baby was placed in the hospital morgue, but the remains were unable to be located on Jan. 2 when a funeral home came to the hospital.Moore claims the hospital told her that her son was discarded with trash from the hospital.Moore and her attorney, Michael Anise, say it shouldn't matter whether the baby was born alive or not. They say the hospital should have made sure the body was protected.
