Road reopens as crews work to restore water services to Bridgewater residents

Crews in Bridgewater are working to restore services to customers impacted by a water main break on Washington Valley Road.

Bridgewater police notified residents around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday about the road closures.

As of 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Bridgewater police announced that Washington Valley Road has been reopened between Chimney Rock Road and Vosseller Avenue.

A spokesperson from American Water Company stated, “The main has been repaired and crews are actively working to restore service to impacted customers.”

They continued to say, “All customers are expected to have service restored by approximately 8 p.m.”
