After a weekend of music and crowds in Asbury Park, crews are now working to restore the beach and boardwalk.
The seventh annual Sea.Hear.Now festival drew 35,000 people each day, with Blink 182 closing out the event Sunday night.
By midmorning Monday, trash was cleared and stage breakdown was underway.
Festival cofounder Tim Donnelly once promised a well-organized show, and many say that’s what the city got again this year.
Andrew Knight from Annapolis called the event “controlled chaos” and praised the staff for creating a great experience.
Officials expect the beach to be fully restored by Wednesday.
