The official start of summer is not quite here, but this weekend, a Monmouth County Beach town will be filled with summer-like crowds.
The same great food will be served at the Belmar Seafood Festival, but there is a big change as far as where the popular festival will be happening.
No longer is this event in Silver Lake Park closer to the ocean. This year, the festivities have been moved to downtown Belmar's Shopping District, along Main Street in the Belmar Plaza Parking lot.
The thinking behind moving the festival is it will help with congestion and dealing with the crowds.
All the fun starts today from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturday it runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
