Crane overturns, damages 2 homes in River Vale
Police say the ground gave way beneath the commercial crane while a private contractor was working at a residence. No injuries were reported.

A commercial crane overturned and damaged two homes in River Vale on Thursday morning after the ground beneath it gave way, according to police.
River Vale police said officers were called to Sunny Hill Terrace around 9:55 a.m. A private contractor was working at a home when the crane overturned. No injuries were reported.
The River Vale Fire Department and Building Department responded, along with a PSE&G crew to secure the area.
