Cow attacks man at Hackettstown livestock auction

An 18-year-old man is recovering from injuries he received when a cow attacked him on Tuesday morning.

An 18-year-old man is recovering from injuries he received when a cow attacked him on Tuesday morning.
Hackettstown police say that the Independence Township resident was trying to put the cow back into a stall at the Livestock Cooperative Auction Market of North Jersey on West Stiger Street, when the cow pushed the man and charged at him.
Police say that the victim was knocked into a gate and fell on a concrete ramp. He has head and facial injuries and was taken to Morristown Medical Center to be checked out.
Officials say that the man is expected to be OK.
There wasn’t any word on what happened to the cow.
