Hitting the slopes is now possible all year long thanks to Big Snow, the country’s first indoor ski and snowboard center open at the American Dream megamall in East Rutherford.

“Big Snow is unlike any other facility in the country,” says Big Snow vice president of marketing Hugh Reynolds. “If you love winter, if you love getting out in the cold, if you love skiing or snowboarding, we give you the opportunity to do that 365 days a year.”

Big Snow is an 180,000-square-foot attraction that is packed with real snow. There are also restrictions in place to protect the public from COVID-19.

“Masks are required, social distancing, good personal hygiene, sanitization, temperature checks for guest and staff,” says Reynolds.

Big Snow guests tell News 12 New Jersey that the facility was a great place to practice their skills and hang out with friends.

This is a big week for New Jersey businesses. Gyms and fitness centers were able to reopen on Tuesday and indoor dining and movie theaters can reopen on Friday.
