Hoboken Mayor Peter Cammarano, embroiled in a sweeping federal corruption probe, is expected to step down Friday, a spokesman for Gov. Jon Corzine says.
Cammarano was arrested along with 43 other people last week in a massive corruption sting. He's accused of taking $25,000 in bribes, prosecutors say.
Secaucus Mayor Dennis Elwell, also arrested during the sting, resigned Tuesday.
